Real Weddings | Mr + Mrs Coop

Sarah-Jane Harris and Evan Coop were married April 26th, 2014 at The Bluff National Park in front of 100 guests. The lovely couple met at high school in Emerald and held their ceremony on the Bride’s parents private property at Paramont Park in Rockhampton.

The couple’s day was captured perfectly by David Harbutt Photography. They also chose to include a photobooth, by Carmen Howells Photography, for guests to amuse themselves with later in the evening.

Gorgeous flowers and arrangements were supplied by Natalie and her team and Tall Pines Florist, in East Street, Rockhampton.

Their wedding was styled and coordinated by The Wedding Mill, with the Bride and her family making many of the additional, special touches that featured throughout the ceremony and reception. Here at The Wedding Mill, we love the cute, pastel, little hearts that lined the aisle as part of the couple’s wedding ceremony. Sarah-Jane was walked down the aisle, by her father, to ‘Marry Me’ by Train.

The Bride’s lace gown was from Hills in Hollywood and they found the gorgeous, teal Bridesmaid’s dresses at BLU Wedding Boutique in Mackay. The gentlemen wore suits from Mark Bunt Menswear. The ladies’ hair was done by Noni Lee Hair Design with make up by Effekt Beauty.

The couple chose to get married in Central Queensland, “this is where we live and we wanted to showcase our area to our friends and family”.

The couple’s favourite moment from throughout their evening was their first dance, to John Legend’s ‘All of Me’. “It was really nice to just be with each other listening to a beautiful song. It was also nice to also glance over at our family and friends and take in a few moments”, the Bride explains.
